We tested two prototypes. The softer sample felt plush right away. But on a hard surface, our roughly 200 lb tester began to feel as though she was sitting through it. The selected Oasis sample felt more substantial underneath her. That experience led us to measure its compression over time.
Medium-firm, on purpose. This is a feel preference worth getting right: choose Oasis if you want a structured cushion with some give. If you want an ultra-plush pillow to sink deeply into, it may not be your match.
“Will this flatten like my last cushion?” is a fair question. Here’s what we observed with one 200 lb tester over three hours, measuring the same point on the same cushion.
After one minute beneath the tester, approximately four inches remained at the measured point.

Oasis measures approximately 18.1″ wide × 16.9″ deep. Compare that footprint with your usable seat area, including the space between armrests. Then check the height it adds.
The foam compresses when you sit, but still adds height. Check desk clearance, armrests, and whether your feet can rest comfortably. Your bodyweight and chair affect the fit.
Unzip the outer cover to remove it for care, without replacing the whole cushion. Follow the product’s care instructions.
Helps the cushion stay positioned on the seat. Check its stability on your particular chair surface.
